Field Service Engineer

We currently have a permanent vacancy for a Field Service Engineer covering the Bristol area.

The purpose of the role is to service, repair, refurbish and maintain a variety of equipment which includes bin hoists, recycling vehicles and waste collection vehicles out in the field at both customer premises and within company depots / sites.

Key responsibilities include:
• To repair, maintain and commission full range of supplied Terberg equipment both in the company depots and on site at customer / supplier locations
• To carry out fabrication and welding as required
• To work to quality control procedures recording all relevant information
• To ensure work is in line with health and safety standards at all times
• To ensure the company image is promoted and maintained at all times

Applicants should have a good automotive / heavy goods vehicle / heavy plant back ground and be able to demonstrate hands on experience along with qualifications that fall in line with City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 and above or equivalent.

The ideal candidate will be professional and self-motivated with a good customer service ethos. They will have the ability to solve problems and an awareness of Health & Safety requirements.

The role will require a flexible approach to hours as overtime may be offered at short notice. Applicants must be willing to travel.
