Systems & Software Engineer

We currently have a vacancy for a Systems & Software Engineer at our Warwick site reporting to the Software and Control Team Leader. 

The overall purpose of this role is to control systems engineering and development of electric vehicle functionality and electric vehicle applications.

The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate technically complex subjects and have developed good problem-solving techniques.  

 Candidates will have at least 2 – 3 years’ industrial experience and a degree in a relevant Engineering subject. A Masters degree in Controls, Systems or Software Engineering would be advantageous though not essential.   

The role will require the successful candidate to have knowledge and experience of automotive development, automotive control systems and of functional safety standard ISO26262. Knowledge of ASPICE, Systems Engineering processes and a good level of MATLAB/Simulink is essential. Candidates should also have knowledge of the fundamentals of control theory and an understanding of the ‘V’ development model. 

The successful candidate must be flexible, willing, and able to travel extensively.
