Vacancies have arisen within the Fabrication area of the business for Welder Fitters reporting to the Production Manager.
The main purpose of the role is to achieve output to the correct build time and build process, ensuring the correct standard of quality in line with BS EN ISO 9001 quality management systems. Candidates should have knowledge of production processes, have organisational awareness and experience in MIG & MAG welding as well as experience of medium - heavy fabrication of steel construction & welding - (2mm to 10mm).
Knowledge of cellular manufacturing processes is desirable but not essential.
Applicants should have the ability to build and tack weld fabricated items from a drawing and then complete the welding operations.
Applicants must also be able to spot visual faults in fabrications and correct them in a timely fashion and have the necessary skills to read and understand engineering drawings.
Additionally, candidates should have fabrication qualifications, have attended a relevant intense welding training course and have been issued with welding approval certificates.
